psalms 78;70-72 by pr Robert masajjage

70 He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens;
71 from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance.
72 And David shepherded them with integrity of heart;with skillful hands he led them.

This is what the lord has inspired to me this morning that he chose us as his servants to tend the sheep to its place of inheritace. Shepherd with integrity,with skillfull hands.
Integrity and skillfull hands are needed today in our ministries. pray for this ministry .

Today20-1-2009 devotion

Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
Defend the orphan,
Plead for the widow.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the LORD,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
The lord is calling us as his children to learn to do good and to seek justice .............[Isiah 1-17]

Halleluah
God is ever on our side though some times we feel like slipping down.We shall come out as refined silver.In what i see in Uganda and the ministry we are like slidding down but all in all we go to God in prayer and answers us.Be encouraged in the lord and prayers.psalms 66;8-12
PSALMS
8 Praise our God, O peoples let the sound of his praise be heard;
9 he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.
10 For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.
11 You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.
12 You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water,but you brought us to a place of abundance.
Welcome to Mercy and Grace Ministries Uganda

We desire to reconcile people to God.

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation We pray thee in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." – II Corinthians 5:18-20

We desire to see the Word of God become the joy and rejoicing of people's hearts.

"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart." – Jeremiah 15:16

We desire for people to find the profit in knowing the Word of God.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." – II Timothy 3:16-17

We desire for people to come to know and to receive the promises of God's Word.

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." – II Peter 1:4

We desire to lead people to abundant living.

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." – John 10:10

We desire to offer ourselves and this ministry to all.

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." – Galatians 3:28
